To use Auto Assign, first navigate to the Game Schedule.
Use the checkboxes to select the games that you want to Auto Assign.
Click Auto Assign.
This will open the Auto-Assigner.
Take a moment to read through the window and see the features available to you:

Games Selected: This presents a quick summary of the contests you have selected and the positions available to assign.

Assignment Options: This allows you to limit the auto assignment to specific positions.

Official Criteria: This allows you to set filters to control which officials will be assigned.
The Auto Assigner will automatically rule out any officials with blocks which directly conflict with the game(s) selected (due to things like ineligibility, schedule blocks, etc.).
Once you have set your Auto Assign preferences, click Assign.
Wait while the assignments process.
When finished, the Auto Assign Report will display to show a summary of the assignments made following the auto assignment.
Click Close to exit.
How Auto Assigner Assigns
The Auto Assigners orders assignments by first seeing who is available, then assessing who has the fewest game assignments at the time of the auto assign, and then finally it assigns alphabetically.
View Previous Auto Assign Sessions
Click Auto Assignments in the top-right of the game schedule to see previous auto assignment sessions.
Edit & Publish Assignments
After the Auto Assigner makes its selections, you can still edit assignments before publishing them.
Click the officials assigned on a game in the game schedule to open Officials and Workers in the side-bar.
You can see that the official assigned through Auto Assign is still labeled as 'Unpublished'. To remove this official to replace them, click the trash can icon by their name.
If satisfied with the game's assignments, you can select the '...' icon and click Publish Assignments.
You can also publish multiple games at once by going to the Actions menu and selecting Publish Pending Assignments.
