Here is how an assigner with the OHSAA can complete their OHSAA Assigner Registration for 2023-24.
1. Visit the NFHS Center for Officials Services and select the 'Sign Up for Free' button.
2. Enter your first name, last name, email address and password, then click 'Submit' to create your free account. Check your email for a verification code, then copy and paste that code into the field on the next screen.
3. You will immediately be sent a “Verify Your Email Address” email with a unique 8-digit code that you will need to enter to finish creating your account. Check your email for a verification code, then copy and paste that code into the field on the next screen
4.Review and accept the Terms of Service
5. You will then land on the 'Today' page where you can click the 'Get Started' button to begin your registration as an official.
6. Select “Official” as your Role
7. Select “Assigner” and click "Add Assigner"
8. Select “Ohio” as your state and click on "Pick State"
9. Select the “OHSAA | Ohio High School Athletic Association” and click "Join"
10. Select “Assigner Registration” along with any sports that you will be registering to assign and click "Add Sports".
**Be sure to ONLY select Assigner Registration at this time. Do NOT select additional sports at this time -- you can do so at a later point.**
11. Click “Skip” (bottom right)
12. Review and click "Save"
13. Click “Complete your Registration”
14. You will be taken to the requirements to register as an Assigner with the OHSAA. Click each item to complete
