Officiating Limits

Learn how to set up and manage your officiating limit settings in DragonFly

Officiating limits in DragonFly prevent the same contest official from being assigned to officiate the same teams too frequently or too many times within a season.

To get started in setting up officiating limits, first navigate to the Game Schedule

Click the Settings gear icon.

Select Officiating Limits

You have two options available to set a limit:

  • You can require a certain number of days to pass after a game before an official is allowed to officiate another game for that same team.

  • You can place a season-long limit to the number of times an official can officiate a game with a team.

When you are satisfied with your limits, click Save.

Now that it is set, assigners will see the warning for "Back to back" if that official has assignments that would conflict with the existing Officiating Limits when looking to assign a game.

If you assign an official who is in conflict with an officiating limit, you will see a window that warns of the conflict.

You may choose to override this by selecting Confirm if you choose.
