DragonFly Fee Policy
Introduction and Purpose
Welcome to DragonFly. This document outlines the applicable fees, payment processing structures, and best practices for setting prices for items listed on our platform. The goal of this policy is to ensure clarity and transparency regarding the financial aspects of using DragonFly.

DragonFly Fee Structure
The price you set for an item determines the applicable Platform Fee. There is also a standard Payment Processing Fee applied to every transaction.
Platform Fee (Based on Item Price)
The Platform Fee is a fixed dollar amount based on the gross selling price (Store Price) you set for your item.

Note on minimum pricing: While the system allows you to set a minimum price of $3.00, or $0.00 for a "no cost" option, we strongly recommend a minimum price of $5.00 or higher for all standard paid items.
Payment Processing Fees
This fee covers the costs associated with processing credit card transactions.
- Percentage Fee: 3.5% of the Store Price
- Per-Transaction Fee: $0.30 per transaction
The Net Revenue Calculation
Your Net Revenue is the amount the administrative organization will assume and receive after the Platform Fee and Payment Processing Fees are deducted.
Net Revenue = Store Price - Platform Fee - (Store Price x 3.5% + $0.30)

Pricing Best Practices and Tips
Strategic pricing can increase customer conversion and simplify item management. We recommend the following guidelines when setting your Store Price:
1. Simplify Pricing (Rounding and Increments)
- Round to Whole Dollars: Prices like $25.00 are easier for customers than $24.99
- Use $5 Increments: Prices ending in 0 or 5 (like $20, $25, $30) simplify decision-making
2. System Recommended Price Adjustments
The platform may suggest an optimized price when you enter an amount that deviates from best practices.
- For Items Priced More Than $10.00: If you input cents (e.g., $12.99), the system will suggest an even dollar amount (e.g., $13.00).
3. Factor in Fees
- Ensure Profitability: Always consider the fixed platform fee plus the 3.5% and $0.30 per-transaction processing fees when setting your price to ensure the resulting Net Revenue meets your organization's financial goals.
