How to Change Your Username
The steps below outline how to make a request to change your username.
You cannot change your own username. It must be requested from an administrator from your organization.

For Coaches, Athletes, Parents, or School Staff - Your request must be sent by an Athletic Director (AD) or Principal from your school.

For Assigners & Officials and ADs & Superintendents - A State Association Administrator must make the request.
STEPS:
1. An Admin from your organization must email the request to DragonFly

For security purposes, an administrator from your organization should email username@dragonflyathletics.com with the subject line 'Username Change Request'. If you request your own username to be changed, it will be denied.

Include all relevant details in the email, such as the old and new username, DragonFly account number, and the role within the organization (coach, athlete, parent, staff, assigner, or official).
2. Dragonfly Will Process the Request

Dragonfly will review the request to ensure it's made by the appropriate party.

Upon confirmation and successful processing, Dragonfly will change the username as requested.

Dragonfly will then notify the individual whose username has been changed.
3. Login with the new Username

The user should now attempt to log into their Dragonfly account using the new username.

When you login for the first time with the new username, it must be on a web or mobile browser. You cannot login to the mobile app until after the change has been verified.
- If you need to reset your password during this process, you can enter your new username on the login page and then click 'Forgot your password?" and follow the steps there
4. Verification Email

Following the login attempt, the user will receive a verification email. This email will contain a verification code that the user must enter to complete the login process and confirm the username change.
